History of Kerwa Coal Limited (KCL)

Kerwa Coal Limited (KCL) is a Joint Venture Company of Chhattisgarh Mineral Development Corporation Limited(CMDC) & Madhya Pradesh State Mining Corporation Limited(MPSMC), registered under the Companies Act, 1956. Govt of India has allocated Kerwa coal block jointing to CMDC and MPSMC on 07.11.2013. Pursuant to above referred allotment letter, CMDC and MPSMC have formed a Joint Venture Company (JVC) in the name and style of Kerwa Coal Limited on 28.01.2015. The holding of CMDC and MPSMC in the JVC is 51 and 49% respectively. Kerwa coal block allocated to Kerwa Coal Limited on 21.07.2016.


  Objectives
The Main Object of the Company is to search Major and Minear Minerals and precious stone in the state
of chhattisgarh and to acquire mining rights for Exploration and Exploitation of minerals and for development of mines.

Our Mission is to Enhance the production of Minerals. Exploration and Exploitation of Mineral Resources, Establishment and Promotion of Mineral Based Industries. and Explore the new Areas of Mining in Chhattisgarh. and lead the mining sector of Chhattisgarh and turn it to be a safe and good position.
